Michael Talbot wrote The Holographic Universe along with several other writings which point to a relationship between quantum physics and ancient mysticism. His work explains that "we are really 'receivers' floating through a kaleidoscopic sea of frequency, and what we extract from this sea and transmogrify into physical reality is but one channel from many extracted out of the superhologram."
Through synthesizing the work of Alain Aspect, David Bohm, and Karl Pribram we can conceptualize a theoretical model of the universe which helps establish the paranormal as a part of nature. Bohm and Pribram have both noted that many para-psychological phenomena become understandable through the lens of the holographic paradigm. Considering a universe where individuals are actually subjective portions of the greater hologram and everything is infinitely interconnected, paranormal activity such as telepathy or channeling could simply be the accessing of the holographic level. The holographic paradigm could explain many of the baffling phenomena experienced by individuals during altered states of consciousness.
